Working in a clinical environment to provide quality and efficient Occupational Health services to our patients and client companies. Responsibilities include: - Assessment of patients: temperature, pulse, blood pressure, basic wound care, etc... - Perform tests: Drug Screens, Breath Alcohol, Hair Collections, HIV counseling, DOT Physicals, Vision, Pulmonary Function, Audio, Respirator FIT, EKG, Urinalysis, Phlebotomy & other specialized client protocols - Administer injections or medications under the direction of attending provider - Assist medical providers - Document patient histories - Charting & data entry - After hours services to client companies using skills outlined above Candidate must possess the following skills: - good nursing judgement - excellent multi-tasker - responsible - good written & verbal communication skills - good organizational skills with a focus to detail - ability to work & get along with others - positive attitude - ability to follow orders - computer skills Experience & Education required: - NYS Registered Nurse Degree - Medical Terminology certificate - NYS Infection control certificate - Certifications in: HIV counselor certification, - Continuing education is also required
