24/7 After Hours Testing:

When an employee requires post-accident, reasonable suspicion testing after regular business hours, please follow these steps:

  • Call our answering service at 716-712-0670.
  • Inform the operator of what type of testing is required: post accident/post injury, or reasonable suspicion.
  • If your employee is being treated for an injury at any other hospital and they require drug testing and/or alcohol testing, you will need to notify the operator which one of our HealthWorks-WNY sites your employee will be going to for testing after they have been discharged from the ER.  OR if you are only sending an employee for drug testing and/or alcohol testing who requires reasonable suspicion testing, simply notify the operator which one of the HealthWorks-WNY sites the employee will be going to for testing.
  • For safety concerns, a Supervisor must accompany any employee sent for drug or alcohol testing for any reason.
  • The Employer is responsible for sending with the employee or his supervisor, any special paperwork, custody and control forms (CCF) that may be specific to the company, if they are required.  The collector will follow your prescribed company protocol; however, if your employee arrives without the correct CCF, HealthWorks will use Clinical Reference Laboratory (CRL).
